Nicole Poirier

Nicole Poirier est originaire de Chéticamp, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Son amour pour les petits enfants l’a amené à effectuer un baccalauréat en éducation préscolaire-élémentaire à l’Université de Moncton. Par la suite, elle a eu le plaisir de toujours enseigner auprès des jeunes, soit comme enseignante de maternelle, intervenante avec Famille et Petit enfance ou enseignante d’appui à l’apprentissage. Elle demeure à Scoudouc avec son époux et leur fille adolescente.

Nicole Poirier is from Chéticamp, Nova Scotia. Her love of children pushed her to complete a Bachelor of Preschool and Elementary Education at the University of Moncton. Since then, she has always had the pleasure of working with young people, whether as a primary teacher, a worker with Famille et petite enfance (Family and Early Childhood), or a learning support teacher. She lives in Scoudouc with her husband and their teenage daughter.

Camille Perron-Cormier

Camille Perron-Cormier est née à Moncton, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Elle est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en arts et en design avec concentration en bande dessinée de l’Université du Québec en Outaouais. Elle fait du graphisme, de l’illustration et de la bande dessinée et présente des ateliers jeunesse. Elle a été nommée découverte de l’année 2024 par Les Éloizes pour sa bande dessinée SOS sorcières (2023) et a été invité au pavillon canadien du Festival d’Angoulême. Elle a aussi signé les magnifiques illustrations d’Adieu, Jacoby ! (2020) et de Sous mon bateau (2022). Ses animations scolaires sur la bande dessinée et les zines sont très en demande.

Camille Perron-Cormier was born in Moncton, New Brunswick. She holds a bachelor of arts and design with a concentration in cartooning from the Université du Québec in Outaouais. She works in graphic design, illustration and comics, and gives workshops for young people. She was named Discovery of the Year 2024 by Les Éloizes for her comic strip SOS sorcières (2023) and was invited to the Canadian pavilion at the Festival d’Angoulême. She also created the magnificent illustrations for Adieu, Jacoby! (2020) and Sous mon bateau (2022). Her school presentations on comics and zines are in great demand.
